I'm a little weird and I think dressing my children exactly alike is so fun. The only time I've been able to do it is this school year. I'm having such fun. I should have had twins. Hee! Hee! I'm lucky that they like it too.

A New School Year
Here they are getting ready to go in to the school building. Do you see Wendi holding the side of her jumper? As soon as she got off of the car, she lost the button. Nothing a stapler couldn't fix. I felt bad that she had to go through her first day knowing that her jumper was stapled together. =D
First Day of School
Today was the first day of school for Wendi and Diego. Wendi started 4th grade and Diego started Kindergarten. It was a very sad day for me. I didn't want to see my little baby go. Why do they have to grow up? :( Want to know a secret? You have to promise not to tell anyone. Okay, here it goes. Diego is wearing Wendi's old uniform from when she was in 1st grade. Isn't that adorable? Hee! Hee!
Last Days of Summer
This is how we enjoyed our last days of summer. It's still 110 here, but I guess summer is over. I'll believe it when it gets a little cooler.

Meet the Teacher
This is Wendi's fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Sullivan. My kids are growing up way too fast. I wish they would just stay little forever. Wendi was so happy to see that her best friend will be in her homeroom classroom again this year. :)
Meet the Teacher
This is Diego's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Barton. I don't want him to go. Why is time going by so fast? He looks soooo little. Oh, I wish I could stop time.
Fun in the Sun
What do you do in 110 degree weather? You go to the lake of course. We had a fun day at Joe Pool Lake. My mom even swam and had a great time in the water.
Diego's Recital
This is the last piece that Diego played at his first recital. Wendi was his teacher.
We Loved Having Nana with Us
Here they are getting ready to go to church. Diego and Wendi were so happy to be able to go with Nana. She brings lots of happiness to our children.
Latin Cultural Center in Dallas
This is found on a dome high up on the ceiling at the cultural center. It would change colors and was way cool. I love learning and seeing all kinds of different things. I thought it was pretty neat.
Caminos de Inka
I won free tickets to this concert on facebook and we all got to enjoy this amazing concert on Wendi's birthday. It was wonderful. Very cool music, all from South America.
Grandparents
It wouldn't be a party without grandparents. The abuelitos Campos were able to join us in celebrating Wendi's birthday. We love them too.
Nine Years Old
I love this little girl so much. I love her kindness and complete trust that she has in me. I love that she loves us and loves being around her brother. I love her patience and thirst for knowledge. I love that she lvoes to dance and play and laugh. I love the way she plays the piano and the passion she has for music. I love that she loves the Lord and knows that she can have a relationship with Him. I love that she is my daughter and that she has given me the blessing to be her mom for 9 years. I love her.
Family
Nana was able to visit us just in time to celebrate Wendi's birthday. Our little girl turned 9 on the 6th of August. Here we are getting ready to celebrate her birthday.
Nana in Dallas
Nana came to visit us this last week. It was so much fun having her here. We love her very much and it's fun to be around her. Here we are at the airport picking her up.

Dance Recital
Wendi had her recital on Saturday and although I didn't get to see it, I heard it was awesome. I had to stay backstage and help her change in and out of her costumes. :(
Diego's Buddy
Another one of Diego's friends. Yes, they got together and wore the same shirt on the same day. Diego can make friends anywhere. He's just like his dad. "Let's be matchers."
Swimming
Wendi has taken swimming lessons many times but has always been very scared of the water. Well, that is over. She took lessons again these last two weeks and learned how to swim. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! We are so proud of her. It's hard to overcome your fears.
Celebrity
This is a very special picture. Wendi is being hugged by Maestra Silvia Lozano. She is the director of Ballet Folklorico Nacional de Mexico Aztlan. She is a big deal in Mexico and very famous. She and her company have traveled all over the world. It was so neat that Wendi was able to learn from her. Lucky girl!!
Diego's Buddy
Diego makes friends very easily. This was his buddy for the two weeks that we hung out at the dance studio in Ft. Worth. Diego followed Kris around everywhere. Kris was a good sport and was a good friend to Diego.
Ft. Worth Library
During the two weeks of Wendi's dance workshop, Diego and I spent lots and lots of time at the public library. He hated storytime because he said that there were only a bunch of babies but I made him listen anyway. Hee! Hee!
Dance Workshop
Wendi had tons of fun during her two-week long dance workshop. She worked really hard and learned many new dances. I'm so glad that she can exercise and have fun at the same time. Being in Ft. Worth all day long was hard for me and Diego but we entertained ourselves as best we could. :)
Family Picture
I've decided that we should take a family picture at least once a month. So here's our first one. It's hard to take pictures with all four of us in them.
