If the Savior Stood Beside Me
If the Savior stood beside me, would I do the things I do?
Would I think of His commandments and try harder to be true?
Would I follow His example? Would I live more righteously,
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?
If the Savior stood beside me, would I say the things I say?
Would my words be true and kind if He were never far away?
Would I try to share the gospel? Would I speak more reverently
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?
If the Savior stood beside me, would my thoughts be clean and pure?
Would His presence give me strength and hope, and courage to endure?
Would His counsel guide my actions? Would I choose more worthily
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?
If the Savior stood beside me, would I often kneel to pray?
I listen to the Spirit's voice, and hasten to obey?
Would I count my many blessings? Would I praise Him gratefully
If I could see the Savior standing nigh watching over me?
If the Savior stood beside me, would I comfort those in need?
Would I try to show the Savior's love in every word and deed?
Would I give to those who hunger? Would I serve more willingly
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me?
He is always near me, though I do not see Him there
And because He loves me dearly, I am in His watchful care
So I'll be the kind of person that I know I'd like to be
If I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me.

I love this song. It's so beautiful.
"Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius." by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Second Tooth
Diego lost his second tooth on Sunday. They were both really lose but I think after he lost the first one, he played with the other loose tooth so much that it came out as well. He was so happy, that he was going to get a second visit from the tooth fairy. I can't say the same for us. Lol!
Diego's First Tooth
Diego lost his first tooth on Saturday. He was a little nervous and cried because he got scared when I pulled it out. It was hanging my a little tiny string. He was so excited that the tooth fairy left him some money. I can't believe my baby is so big. I wish they would stay babies forever. :(
Rodeo
Living in Arlington is quite interesting because you get the big city feel of Dallas and you also get the cowboy feel of Ft. Worth. Every year Ft. Worth has a big event featuring their Stockshow and Rodeo. A friend of ours invited us to the rodeo and it was the Best of Mexico Rodeo show. It was awesome!!! I loved the whole entertainment aspect of it. Those Mexicans know how to put on a show. It was fun. The only thing I didn't like is that a horse broke his legs and they had to take him away in a stretcher type thing. It was our first rodeo and I must say I would recommend it to everyone. When in Texas....

It's a New Year
If the Mayans were right, this might be the year the world ends. I really hope they were wrong. I have so much to do. I can hardly believe that it's 2012. I have so much hope for this new year. I feel like change is needed in all aspects of my life. And I'm going to make this the year that those changes start happening. So, wish me luck and once again I hope the Mayans were wrong and that this year I will have lots of fun and exciting new things to report about my life. =D
Christmas Day
We were so excited that Christmas fell on a Sunday. After opening all of the presents, we went to church and celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ.
Christmas Pictures
We didn't get to go home this Christmas but we were able to spend it with our family here in Arlington. The Campos are dear friends of ours. We love them.
Christmas Pictures
I don't know why I had to ruin yet another picture with whatever I'm doing with my mouth, but this was taken outside the Riverwalk restaurant.
