Goodbye! And Hello!!

As all you lovely people know, I have neglected my blog these last few months.  There are many reasons for this.  I became exponentially busier and lazier about blogging, but most importantly I ran out of free space that I could use on my blog.  So, I started a new one.  Here is the link to my new blog.  Please come back and see what we've been up to.  I haven't forgotten all of you and soon I will revisit your blogs as well. :)  Click here to go to my new blog.

Swimming with Friends

Our sweet friends, the Speirs' invited us to go swimming in their swimming pool.  We had a fun time.  We sure love these ladies.  

Dance Workshop

Wendi was able to participate, for the second year, in a Ballet Folklorico workshop put on by the director of the National Ballet Folklorico of Mexico.  Pretty cool if you ask me.  :)  Here she is with her two dance instructors.  The one on the right is a chemist and I think that is just super cool.

 Diego and I hung out in Ft. Worth for two weeks while Wendi danced.  Here he is with the famous Silvia Lozano.

Wendi needed a picture as well, after all she is the one that dances. Ha! Ha!

Painting

We finally started painting the house.  We started with Wendi's room.  Here is a before picture.

It took us forever and it was very hard.  But we are happy with the results.

Her window.  It came out very pretty.  We can't wait to get started on Diego's room.

New Frames

Wendi got new frames.  What do you think?  I think she looks exactly like the Minnie on her necklace.  Hee! Hee!

Diego wants to wear glasses as well.  He wants to be like the rest of us, so we gave him Wendi's really old, lens-free frames.  He was so happy. Oh, Diego!

Bernie

Bernie's owner, Mrs. Sullivan had a birthday and little Bernie had to celebrate somehow.  Hee! Hee!  We've had tons of fun with Bernie this summer.

Another Monday

Last Friday we went to the Science Museum and I could not resist these adorable t-shirts. 

 I love that my kids love them as much as I do. :)

Fun at Hawaiian Falls

Ruben and the kids went with some froms from Wendi's dance class to Hawaiian Falls.  I don't really enjoy hanging out all day in 110 degree weather so I didn't go, but it seems they had lots of fun.

 I can just imagine what he's telling Diego, "Diego, don't get crazy. You are not really a flying fish."

Fun Day!

Want to know what we did today?  We did a lot!! :)

 1.  Go to an outdoor concert to hear Big Don at the Leavitt Pavillion.

 2.  Go to Barnes & Noble to learn about all the instruments one can play.

 3.  Try out the flute and the snare drum.

4.  Have a surprise lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.  Yummy!!

5.  Go do two weeks worth of laundry at the hottest, most annoying laundromat in the world.  Ahh!!!

6.  Pass out from exhaustion!



Fun Saturday

Did you know that even though we went to the 9:50 am showing on a Saturday, that the theater was full?  We thought we were crazy going at that time.  Apparently, there are a lot of crazy people. :)  I liked the movie a lot, I even cried.

My kids were embarrassed to take this picture, but I thought it was adorable.

After the movie, we went to Barnes & Noble and put together little Harry Potter lego sets.  Fun.

And then Olivia came for a visit.

You jump on the trampoline and play with the hose.  Good Times!!

Frozen Yogurt

Our favorite place to go have yogurt is Yummilicious!! It's so good.  This time the kids had cookies 'n cream with oreo bits and I had my favorite, Avocado with kiwi.  Yumm!

My Kids Have a Wonderful Father.

I love this man so much.  He is such a great father.  I'm so happy that he is my kids' dad.  Thank you My Dear, you are amazing!

Summer Fun
